If your institution has recently implemented any major financial aid policy, program, or initiative to make your institution more affordable to incoming students such as replacing loans with grants, or waiving costs for families below a certain income level please provide details:Cardinal Commitment – Provides a free-tuition guarantee to new students with a family AGI at or below $70,000 (eligibility criteria was recently expanded). Saginaw Valley Opportunity Grant (SVSU’s primary need-based grant) expanded to undergraduate transfer students, in addition to first-time students. Automatic merit scholarships based on high school GPA were increased. The Red & White Scholarship for out-of-state and international students was increased to bring tuition costs down to in-state levels ($10,320 scholarship annually).
