If your institution has recently implemented any major financial aid policy, program, or initiative to make your institution more affordable to incoming students such as replacing loans with grants, or waiving costs for families below a certain income level please provide details:The G. Wayne Clough Georgia Tech Promise Program is available to Georgia residents pursuing their first undergraduate degree including incoming freshmen, transfer, and currently enrolled students who meet the eligibility requirements, beginning with the 2007- 08 academic year. The program is designed to fill a gap in the financial aid support system, picking up where Georgia's HOPE scholarship and other financial aid options leave off. The program is intended to assist Georgia students whose families have an annual income of less than $33,300. Awards from the G. Wayne Clough Georgia Tech Promise Program will be individually tailored to meet the financial need of each recipient. Assistance will include scholarships, grants, and job opportunities that, when combined, will make it possible for you to attend Georgia Tech without the burden of student loan debt.
